1. Park your car on level ground and turn off the engine.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the power steering fluid reservoir. It is usually a clear or translucent plastic container with a black cap. It is located on the driver's side of the engine bay, near the firewall.
4. Check the fluid level in the reservoir. The fluid should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks on the reservoir.
5. If the fluid level is low, add enough power steering fluid to bring it up to the "MAX" mark.
6. Close the hood of your car.
