Obtain the replacement bulbs. You will need two 3157 bulbs for the brake/turn signals and two 194 bulbs for the reverse lights.
Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine.
Open the trunk of your car.
Locate the tail light assembly. It is located on the back of the car, on either side.
Remove the tail light assembly. There are two screws that hold the assembly in place. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws.
Once the screws are removed, you can pull the tail light assembly straight out from the car.
Locate the bulbs. The brake/turn signal bulbs are located at the top of the assembly, and the reverse light bulbs are located at the bottom.
Twist the bulbs counterclockwise to remove them. Be careful not to drop the bulbs.
Install the new bulbs. Insert the new bulbs into the sockets and turn them clockwise until they are secure.
Reinstall the tail light assembly. Insert the assembly back into the car and replace the screws.
Test the lights to make sure they are working properly.
