Why the radio clock or dome lights work on my 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe when there is no power to fuse in passenger compartment panel?

The radio and clock receive their power from the battery, not the fuse panel. When the battery is disconnected, however, some residual current or power may remain stored in the vehicle's electrical system, which can temporarily illuminate the radio display and dome lights. Once the residual power is depleted, they will cease to function.

As for the dome lights, some older vehicles may have manual switches that can activate the lights even if there is no power through the fuse panel. Check if there are any switches that you may have accidentally turned on.

If neither of the above explains why these components are still working when all the fuses are removed, it's possible that there may be a wiring problem or modification to the vehicle's electrical system. For accurate troubleshooting, it's recommended to consult a professional mechanic or automotive electrician to pinpoint the exact cause of this anomaly.
