1. Oil drain pan
2. New oil filter and oil (refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for the correct quantity and type)
3. Oil filter wrench

Instructions:
1. Park your vehicle on a level surface, and ensure that the engine is turned off.
* Engage the parking brake.
* If the engine has been running, allow it to cool down.
2. Locate the oil drain plug on the bottom of the oil pan.
* The oil pan is located under the engine.
* The oil drain plug is usually a 17 mm bolt.
3. Place the oil drain pan under the oil drain plug.
4. Loosen the oil drain plug and allow the oil to drain into the pan.
* Be careful not to spill any oil.
5. Replace the oil drain plug once all the oil has drained.
6. Locate the oil filter.
* The oil filter is usually located near the top of the engine.
* It is a cylindrical-shaped object with a black cap.
7. Remove the oil filter using an oil filter wrench.
* Turn the oil filter counterclockwise until it is loose.
* Be careful not to spill any oil.
8. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
9. Screw the new oil filter in place by hand until it is snug.
* Do not overtighten the oil filter.
10. Add the correct amount of new oil to the engine using a funnel.
* Refer to your vehicle's owner's manual for the correct amount.
11. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
* This will circulate the new oil throughout the engine.
12. Check the oil level and add more if necessary.
* The oil level should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the dipstick.
13. Dispose of the old oil and filter properly.
Additional Tips:
* If you are unable to reach the oil drain plug or oil filter, you may need to raise your vehicle. You can do this by using a car jack and jack stands.
* If you spill any oil, clean it up immediately to avoid slipping and falling.
* Be sure to recycle the old oil and filter. Many auto parts stores offer this service for free.
