How do you get the hood open to fix release cable on a Toyota Tercel?

1. Locate the hood release lever. It is usually located under the dashboard on the driver's side.

2. Pull the hood release lever. This will release the hood latch and allow you to open the hood.

3. If the hood does not open, ensure the hood release cable is not broken. If it is broken, you will need to replace the hood release cable. Alternatively, you can use a screwdriver or other tool to manually release the hood latch.

4. Locate the hood latch. It is located on the front of the car, just below the hood.
