1. Locate the fuel filter.
- The fuel filter is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, just behind the front tire.
2. Loosen the fuel line fittings.
- Use a wrench to loosen the two fuel line fittings that are connected to the fuel filter.
- Be careful not to spill any fuel.
3. Remove the old fuel filter.
- Once the fuel line fittings are loose, you can remove the old fuel filter by unscrewing it from the fuel lines.
4. Install the new fuel filter.
- Screw the new fuel filter into the fuel lines until it is snug.
5. Tighten the fuel line fittings.
- Use a wrench to tighten the two fuel line fittings that you loosened in step 2.
6. Start the engine and check for leaks.
- Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Check for any leaks around the fuel filter. If you see any leaks, tighten the fuel line fittings until the leaks stop.
