Where is the iat sensor located for a Mitsubishi montero?

The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is located in the intake air duct, just before the throttle body. It is a small, cylindrical sensor with a single wire coming out of it. The sensor is held in place by a single bolt.

To remove the IAT sensor, follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Locate the IAT sensor in the intake air duct.

3. Unplug the electrical connector from the sensor.

4. Remove the bolt that holds the sensor in place.

5. Pull the sensor out of the intake air duct.

To install the new IAT sensor, simply reverse the steps above. Be sure to tighten the bolt securely, and reconnect the electrical connector before connecting the negative battery terminal.
