The Exhaust recirculation (EGR) valve is located behind the intake manifold on the passenger side of the engine.

2009-12 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500 & 3500

The EGR valve is located on the passenger side of the engine, near the front of the cylinder head. It is bolted to the intake manifold and has a tube that connects it to the exhaust manifold.
