Where is the battery in 1999 Audi a6?

In the 1999 Audi A6, the battery is located in the trunk, on the passenger side. To access the battery, you will need to remove the trunk liner. Once the trunk liner is removed, you will see a black plastic cover. This cover is held in place by two plastic screws. Remove the screws and lift the cover off. The battery will be located underneath the cover.
