Under the Air Intake:
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the bolts and separate the intake manifold cover from the intake manifold plenum.
4. Remove the mounting bolts and lift off the air cleaner assembly.
5. Remove the upper intake manifold bolts.
6. Loosen the lower intake manifold bolts.
7. Disconnect the fuel injector connectors.
8. Remove the remaining lower intake manifold bolts.
9. Disconnect the accelerator control module cable from the throttle body.
10. Remove the fuel hoses and vacuum hoses.
11. Carefully lift the intake manifold straight up and remove the intake manifold gaskets.
Now you can see and replace the starter.
