After a car is turned off what could still be running?

- Fuel pump: The fuel pump may continue to run for a few seconds after the engine is turned off, to maintain fuel pressure in the system.

- Radio: The radio may continue to operate after the engine is turned off, if it is on an accessory power circuit.

- Heater blower motor: The heater blower motor may continue to run for a short while after the engine is turned off, to help circulate warm air from the engine through the cabin.

- Accessory devices: Other accessory devices, such as power windows, sunroof, and locks, may continue to operate for a short while after the engine is turned off, if they are connected to an accessory power circuit.
