Locate the vehicle's ignition switch.
Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
Quickly perform the following steps five times:
Turn the ignition switch from the "ON" to "OFF" position and back to the "ON" position.
Press any button on the remote.
After the fifth time performing these steps, leave the ignition switch in the "ON" position. You should hear a chime, indicating that the vehicle has entered programming mode.
Within 10 seconds of hearing the chime, press any button on the remote you wish to program. You will hear a single chime to indicate that the remote has been successfully programmed.
Wait 30 seconds after the third chime.
Turn off the ignition switch and wait five seconds.
Turn on the ignition switch again and verify the remote is functioning properly.
