With regular batteries will solar light still charge?

Solar lights typically do not charge with regular batteries. Solar lights are designed to recharge their internal battery using the energy from sunlight. They have photovoltaic (PV) cells, which convert the light energy into electrical energy. This electrical energy is then stored in a rechargeable battery within the solar light.

Regular batteries, on the other hand, are not designed to be recharged using solar energy. They are typically electrochemical cells that provide electrical energy through chemical reactions. Once these chemical reactions are complete, the battery becomes discharged and needs to be replaced or recharged using an external power source.

Therefore, solar lights will not be able to charge using regular batteries. They require sunlight or another source of light energy to generate electricity and recharge their internal batteries.
