How do you set the car alarm on a mini cooper?

1. Press the "Lock" button on your Mini Cooper's key fob.

2. Within 5 seconds, press and hold the "Trunk" button.

3. Continue holding the "Trunk" button until the car's hazard lights flash twice and the horn beeps once.

4. Release the "Trunk" button.

Your car alarm is now set.

To disable the car alarm, press the "Unlock" button on your key fob.
