How do you change the Interior Cabin Air Filter on a 2004 Volvo S40?

Materials Needed:

- Phillips head screwdriver

- New air cabin filter (check your owner’s manual for the correct size)

1. Open the hood of your vehicle and locate the air intake housing, usually located on the passenger side of the engine bay.

2. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws holding the air intake housing cover in place.

3. Inside the air intake housing, you’ll see the cabin air filter.

4. Pull the old cabin air filter straight out.

5. Ensure the new filter is facing towards the front of the car before sliding it into place.

6. Replace the air intake housing cover and screws.

7. Close the hood of your vehicle.
