1. Locate the hood release lever inside your car. It's usually under the dashboard, on the driver's side.
2. Pull the hood release lever to release the hood.
3. Exit your car and walk to the front of it.
4. Look for the Mercedes-Benz logo on the hood.
5. Directly beneath the logo, you will find a small tab.
6. Pull the tab up to release the secondary hood latch.
7. Lift the hood up and prop it open with the provided hood strut.
