1. Look for the engine's fuse box in the engine compartment. The fuse box is in a black plastic enclosure near the battery and right next to the air intake snorkel for the engine.
2. Remove the cover of the fuse box to expose the fuses and relays.
3. Look for a relay with the label "Geblaese" or "Blower." This is the blower motor relay.
4. Remove the blower motor relay by gently pulling it out of its socket.
5. Below the blower motor relay, you will find the blower motor resistor. It is a small, rectangular-shaped component with several electrical terminals.
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the blower motor resistor.
7. Remove the blower motor resistor by unscrewing the mounting screws.
