What are the names of strokes on a two stroke engine?

Intake Stroke:

During this stroke, the piston moves down in the cylinder, creating low pressure inside. The intake vale is open, allowing the air-fuel mixture to be sucked into the cylinder.

Compression Stroke:

Next, the piston moves back up in the cylinder, compressing the air-fuel mixture. This increases its pressure and temperature, creating a more combustible mixture for greater efficiency.

Combustion Stroke (Explosion):

At the top of the compression stroke, the spark plug generates an electric spark, igniting the compressed air-fuel mixture. This causes the mixture to burn, rapidly expanding and creating high pressure inside the cylinder. The force from this expansion pushes the piston down forcefully, generating power.

Exhaust Stroke:

Finally, the piston moves upwards, pushing the exhaust gases out of the cylinder through the open exhaust valve. Once at the top of the stroke, both the intake and exhaust valves are closed, ready to start the cycle again with the next intake stroke.
