- New oil filter (15410-MBG-601)
- New O ring (91301-210-003)
- New crush washer (94109-1400)
- New oil (10W-40)
- Oil drain pan
- Funnel
- Wrench
- Rags
Procedure
1. Warm up the engine for a few minutes to help the oil drain more easily.
2. Turn off the engine and place the oil drain pan under the oil drain plug.
3. Remove the oil drain plug using a wrench. Be careful not to spill any oil.
4. Allow all of the oil to drain out of the engine.
5. Replace the oil drain plug and tighten it securely.
6. Remove the old oil filter using the oil filter wrench. Be careful not to spill any oil.
7. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket of the new oil filter.
8. Screw the new oil filter onto the engine by hand until it is snug. Do not overtighten the oil filter.
9. Add the new oil to the engine using the funnel. Add the correct amount of oil specified in the owner's manual.
10. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
11. Check the oil level using the dipstick. Add more oil if necessary.
12. Check for any leaks.
