Locate the engine oil filler cap. On the GL1100, it is located on the right side of the engine, just above the oil filter.
Remove the filler cap.
Check the oil level. The oil level should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the oil dipstick.
If the oil level is low, add enough oil to bring it up to the "Full" mark.
Do not overfill the oil tank, as this can cause engine damage.
Replace the filler cap.
