* 1903-1909: The Flyer was disassembled and stored in a shed.
* 1909: The Flyer was donated to the Science Museum in London.
* 1914: The Flyer was moved to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.
* Present Day: The Flyer is on display at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
There are other early wooden aircraft, but the Wright Flyer is the most famous and historically significant.
