Is the 2.4L PT Cruiser engine interference?

The 2.4L Chrysler World Engine (used in the PT Cruiser) is non-interference. This means that if the timing belt breaks, the valves and pistons are unlikely to collide, preventing catastrophic engine damage. However, while unlikely to cause valve damage, a broken timing belt will still leave the engine unable to run.
