Where is the ignition module on an 1987 Crown Victoria?

On a 1987 Ford Crown Victoria, the ignition module isn't a standalone unit like on some later vehicles. Instead, the ignition control module is integrated into the distributor. So you won't find a separate box labeled "ignition module." The distributor is located under the distributor cap on the engine.
