What was the first truck made?

There's no single answer to what the very first truck was, as the evolution from horse-drawn wagons to motorized trucks was gradual. However, Duryea Motor Wagon Company's 1904 delivery wagon is often cited as one of the earliest commercially produced trucks in the United States. Before that, various custom-built vehicles were used for hauling, but they lacked the standardization and mass production of later trucks.
