* Exhaust system: The exhaust system would need to be completely custom-fabricated.
* Wiring harness: The Zetec's wiring harness is incompatible with the Pinto's electrical system.
While some people undertake incredibly ambitious engine swaps, this particular swap would be exceptionally complex, expensive, and likely not worth the effort considering the amount of fabrication and engineering required. The cost and time investment would probably far exceed the value of the resulting vehicle.
