Where are the rotor button points in a 4.3 v6 vortec engine?
The 4.3L Vortec V6 engine uses a distributor, not individual rotor button points for each cylinder. There's a single rotor inside the distributor cap that spins and directs the high voltage to the correct spark plug wire at the correct time. There's no "points" in the modern electronic ignition system found in these engines. The points were a feature of older, mechanical ignition systems, not present in the Vortec engines.
