Where is the cam rotation sensor on a 7.3 liter diesel engine in 1997 Ford F-350 pick-up?

On a 1997 Ford F-350 with the 7.3L Power Stroke diesel, the camshaft position sensor (CMP sensor) is located on the passenger side of the engine, on the valley cover. It's usually near the front of the valley cover, fairly close to the distributor (if it still has one; some were equipped with electronic ignition).
