What is a 2.0 liter engine?

A 2.0 liter engine refers to an internal combustion engine with a total displacement of 2.0 liters. This displacement refers to the total volume of all the cylinders in the engine. A larger displacement generally means the engine can produce more power, but it also usually means it will consume more fuel. The "2.0 liter" specification doesn't tell you anything about the engine's design (number of cylinders, configuration, fuel type, etc.), only its total swept volume.
