Tools:
* Phillips head screwdriver
* Flat head screwdriver
* Wire strippers
* Crimping tool
Materials:
* RPM clock
* Wiring harness (included with the RPM clock)
* Electrical tape
Instructions:
1. Locate the fuse box in your Mitsubishi Colt. It is usually located under the dashboard, on the driver's side.
2. Remove the cover of the fuse box.
3. Locate the fuse that is labeled "IGN" or "ACC". This is the fuse that supplies power to the ignition or accessory circuit.
4. Remove the fuse from the fuse box.
5. Connect the red wire from the RPM clock to the terminal on the fuse box that the fuse was removed from.
6. Connect the black wire from the RPM clock to a ground terminal on the chassis of the car.
7. Connect the yellow wire from the RPM clock to the tachometer signal wire on the ignition coil.
8. Replace the cover of the fuse box.
9. Turn on the ignition and check that the RPM clock is working properly.
If the RPM clock is not working properly, check the following:
* Make sure that all of the connections are secure.
* Make sure that the RPM clock is properly grounded.
* Make sure that the tachometer signal wire is properly connected to the ignition coil.
* Use a scan tool to measure the RPM at the RPM clock
