How do you change front blower motor in Mazda cx9?

To replace the blower motor in a 2013 Mazda CX-9, follow these steps:

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal:

Open the hood of your CX-9.

Locate the negative battery terminal. It is usually marked with a "-" sign.

Using a wrench, loosen the nut securing the negative battery cable.

Remove the cable from the terminal and set it aside.

2.Remove the glove box:

Open the glove box.

On the sides of the glove box, you will find two plastic pins that hold it in place.

Press on these pins using your thumbs and pull the glove box downwards to release it.

Remove the glove box completely from the vehicle.

3.Remove the blower motor cover:

Locate the blower motor cover behind the glove box opening.

There are three screws holding the blower motor cover in place.

Remove these three screws using a Phillips-head screwdriver.

Lift the blower motor cover and remove it from the vehicle.

4.Remove the blower motor:

Locate the blower motor inside the housing.

There are three screws securing the blower motor to the housing.

Remove these screws using a Phillips-head screwdriver.

Once the screws are removed, you can unplug the electrical connector from the blower motor.

Pull the blower motor out of the housing and remove it from the vehicle.

5.Reverse the steps to install the new blower motor:

Insert the new blower motor into the housing.

Plug in the electrical connector.

Secure the blower motor using the three screws that were removed earlier.

Replace the blower motor cover and secure it with the three screws.

Reinstall the glove box.

Reconnect the negative battery cable to the terminal and tighten the nut.

Close the hood of your CX-9.
