1. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position.
2. Use a small flat-head screwdriver to depress the release button located on the side of the ignition cylinder.
3. While holding the release button depressed, turn the key to the "LOCK" position.
4. Remove the key from the ignition.
5. Use the flat-head screwdriver to pry the ignition cylinder out of the dash.
If the ignition cylinder does not come out easily, you may need to use a pair of pliers to gently pry it out.
Once the ignition cylinder is removed, you can replace it with a new one. To do this, simply insert the new ignition cylinder into the dash and turn it to the "ON" position. The release button will automatically pop out, and you can then remove the key.
