1. Remove the gas cap and relieve the fuel system pressure by pressing the Schrader valve on the fuel injection rail.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Locate the fuel filter. It is a cylindrical-shaped object with two fuel lines attached to it.
4. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel filter. Be careful not to spill any fuel.
5. Remove the old fuel filter.
6. Install the new fuel filter. Make sure the arrow on the fuel filter is pointing in the direction of fuel flow.
7. Reconnect the fuel lines to the fuel filter.
8. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
9. Start the engine and check for leaks.
