Who invented the car wheel?
There is no single inventor of the car wheel. The concept of a wheel and axle system has existed for thousands of years, and it was developed independently by many different civilizations. The earliest evidence of wheels comes from ancient Mesopotamia, where they were used on carts pulled by oxen. The first wheels were made of solid wood, but later versions were made of wood with a metal rim. The wheel and axle system was also used in ancient Egypt and China. In the Americas, the wheel was developed independently by the Maya and Aztec civilizations.
