1. Park your car in a safe location and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down.
2. Open the hood of your car.
3. Locate the fan belt. It is usually located at the front of the engine, near the top.
4. Loosen the tensioner pulley. This is usually done by turning a bolt or nut with a wrench.
5. Remove the old fan belt.
6. Install the new fan belt. Make sure that it is properly seated in all of the pulleys.
7. Tighten the tensioner pulley.
8. Close the hood of your car.
9. Start the engine and check that the fan belt is working properly.
