* Oil pan to catch old oil
* Funnel

Instructions
1. Lift your vehicle using a jack and jack stands or drive it up onto ramps.
2. Locate the oil filter. The oil filter on the Mercedes-Benz 190D is located on the bottom of the engine, close to the oil pan.
3. Place an oil pan under the oil filter to catch any spilled oil.
4. Loosen the oil filter using a wrench. Be careful not to spill any oil.
5. Remove the oil filter and let the old oil drain out into the oil pan.
6. Clean the oil filter housing gasket surface using a rag.
7. Apply a thin coat of new oil to the gasket surface of the new oil filter.
8. Thread the new oil filter onto the oil filter housing until it is snug. Do not overtighten the oil filter.
9. Lower your vehicle and dispose of the old oil and oil filter properly.
