1. Open the hood of your car.
2. Locate the engine cover. It is the black plastic cover located at the top of the engine.
3. There are two plastic clips that hold the engine cover in place. To release the clips, use a flat-head screwdriver or your fingernail to push down on the tab on the clip.
4. Once the clips are released, lift the engine cover up and off of the engine.
To reinstall the engine cover, simply align the engine cover with the engine and press down on the clips until they snap into place.
