Prepare the materials you need, including:
-New engine oil (recommended: SAE 10W-40)
-Oil drain pan
-Funnel
-Wrench
-Rags
Locate the oil drain plug. The oil drain plug on the LT50 is located on the bottom of the engine, near the front. It is a 17mm bolt.
Place the oil drain pan under the oil drain plug.
Unscrew the oil drain plug using the wrench. Be careful, as the oil may be hot.
Allow the old oil to drain completely. This may take a few minutes.
Replace the oil drain plug.
Locate the oil fill cap. The oil fill cap on the LT50 is located on the top of the engine, near the rear. It is a black plastic cap.
Unscrew the oil fill cap.
Using the funnel, add new engine oil to the engine. Add enough oil to reach the upper level mark on the dipstick.
Replace the oil fill cap.
Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. This will circulate the new oil throughout the engine.
Check the oil level again. If necessary, add more oil to reach the upper level mark on the dipstick.
Your Suzuki LT50's engine oil has now been changed.
