- A Phillips head screwdriver
- A flat head screwdriver
- A pair of pliers
- A 10mm socket wrench
- A 12mm socket wrench
1. Remove the seat.
- To do this, use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws at the front of the seat.
- Then, use the flat head screwdriver to pry up the rear of the seat and lift it off.
2. Remove the side panels.
- Use the 10mm socket wrench to remove the two bolts holding each side panel in place.
- Once the bolts are removed, carefully pull the side panels off. Be careful not to damage the paint.
3. Remove the rear fender.
- Use the 12mm socket wrench to remove the two bolts holding the rear fender in place.
- Once the bolts are removed, lift the rear fender off and set it aside.
4. Install the seat cowl.
- Place the seat cowl on the bike and align it with the mounting holes.
- Insert the bolts and tighten them using the 10mm socket wrench.
5. Reinstall the side panels.
- Replace the side panels and secure them with the two bolts on each side.
6. Reinstall the rear fender.
- Lift the rear fender into place and secure it with the two bolts.
7. Reinstall the seat.
- Place the seat on the bike and secure it with the two screws at the front.
Your YZF Thundercat seat cowl is now installed.
