Instructions
1. Shut off the engine and locate the carburetor. It is usually mounted on the top of the engine near the air filter.
2. Disconnect the fuel line and air filter from the carburetor.
3. Remove the mounting bracket and pull out the carburetor.
4. Inspect the float for damage. It should be free of cracks or holes and should move freely up and down.
5. If the float is damaged, replace it with a new one.
6. Clean the carburetor with carburetor cleaner. Pay special attention to the small passages and jets.
7. Blow out any remaining cleaner with compressed air.
8. Reassemble the carburetor and install it back on the engine.
9. Reconnect the fuel line and air filter.
10. Start the engine and check for proper operation.
