Spark plug firing in 1997 Camry?

1. Locate the spark plugs. The spark plugs are located on the top of the engine, near the front. They are usually covered by a black plastic cover.

2. Remove the spark plug wires. The spark plug wires are the thin, black wires that connect the spark plugs to the distributor. To remove a spark plug wire, simply pull it off of the spark plug.

3. Remove the spark plugs. Use a spark plug wrench to loosen the spark plugs. Be careful not to drop the spark plugs into the engine.

4. Inspect the spark plugs. The spark plugs should be clean and free of deposits. If the spark plugs are dirty, you can clean them with a wire brush.

5. Replace the spark plugs. Screw the new spark plugs into the engine by hand. Then, tighten the spark plugs with a spark plug wrench.

6. Reattach the spark plug wires. Push the spark plug wires back onto the spark plugs. Make sure that the wires are securely attached.

7. Replace the spark plug cover.
