Would a 82 XV 750 Yamaha front end work on 750cc maxim?

The 82 XV 750 Yamaha Virago front end can be installed on a 750cc Maxim with some modification. The XV 750 front end has a wider axle spacing and different fork lengths than the 750cc Maxim. This means that you will need to modify the forks and axle spacers in order to fit it to the Maxim. Additionally, the XV 750 front brake caliper is different from the 750cc Maxim, so you will need to use the XV 750 caliper and mount it to the Maxim's fork leg.
