Where is the fuel gauge for a Honda Shadow Aero?

There is no traditional fuel gauge on the Honda Shadow Aero. Instead, there are two reserve indicators. When riding the motorcycle, as the fuel level decreases the fuel light will indicate the level of the fuel in the petcock. When the petcock is on '1', the fuel indicator will light when there is one gallon remaining. When the petcock is on 'res', the indicator will light when half gallon of fuel remains. Alternatively, the fuel light indicators are connected to a fuel sensor within the fuel assembly, which illuminates an LED indicator on the instrument display when the fuel level is low.
