How do you change the turbo on a citroen c8?

Tools:

* Socket set

* Wrenches

* Screwdrivers

* Pliers

* Turbocharger replacement kit

Step 1 - Prepare the vehicle:

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine.

2. Allow the engine to cool down.

3. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

Step 2 - Remove the old turbocharger:

1. Remove the air intake hose from the turbocharger.

2. Remove the coolant hoses from the turbocharger.

3. Remove the oil feed and return lines from the turbocharger.

4. Remove the exhaust downpipe from the turbocharger.

5. Unbolt the turbocharger from the engine block.

Step 3 - Install the new turbocharger:

1. Clean the turbocharger mounting surfaces on the engine block.

2. Apply a thin layer of sealant to the turbocharger mounting surfaces.

3. Place the new turbocharger onto the engine block and bolt it in place.

4. Reconnect the exhaust downpipe to the turbocharger.

5. Reconnect the oil feed and return lines to the turbocharger.

6. Reconnect the coolant hoses to the turbocharger.

7. Reconnect the air intake hose to the turbocharger.

Step 4 - Refill the engine oil and coolant:

1. Refill the engine oil to the proper level.

2. Refill the coolant to the proper level.

Step 5 - Start the engine and check for leaks:

1. Start the engine and allow it to idle for a few minutes.

2. Check for any leaks from the turbocharger.

3. If there are no leaks, turn off the engine and reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
