1. Gather your tools and materials. You will need a new number plate light bulb, a screwdriver, and a pair of pliers.
2. Open the trunk of your Astra.
3. Locate the number plate light housing. It is usually located on the inside of the trunk lid, near the license plate.
4. Remove the number plate light housing by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place.
5. Remove the old light bulb from the housing by gently pulling it out.
6. Insert the new light bulb into the housing.
7. Replace the number plate light housing and secure it with the screws that you removed earlier.
8. Test the new light bulb by turning on the headlights and checking to make sure that it is working.
