How do you open the fuel door of a 1997 Jetta?

1. Open the driver's door.

2. Look to the left of your feet. There will be a small, black panel with a picture of a gas pump.

3. Press the panel to release the fuel door.

4. The fuel door will automatically pop open or there will be a lever, located by the fuel gauge.
