Parts needed:
- Crankshaft sensor
- 10mm socket
- Extension
- 1/4" ratchet
Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the air filter housing.
3. Locate the crankshaft sensor. It is located on the front of the engine, just below the crankshaft.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the crankshaft.
5. Remove the 10mm bolt that holds the crankshaft sensor in place.
6. Remove the crankshaft sensor from the engine.
7. Install the new crankshaft sensor.
8. Replace the 10mm bolt.
9. Connect the electrical connector to the crankshaft sensor.
10. Reinstall the air filter housing.
11. Reconnect the battery.
