- Torx (T25 or T30) drive bit
- Extension for screwdriver
- Replacement H7 headlight bulb

Instructions:
1. Park your vehicle in a safe location: Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down completely. Engage the parking brake and open the hood of your vehicle.
2. Locate the Headlight Assembly: The Beetle's headlight assembly is located on the backside of the headlight lens cover.
3. Remove the Headlight Bulb Cap: Use the Torx driver bit and an extension to turn and remove the black plastic cap covering the back of the headlight assembly.
4. Disconnect the Wiring Connector: Grip the wiring connector attached to the low-beam headlight bulb and gently squeeze and pull to detach it from the bulb.
5. Remove the Old Bulb: Once the wiring connector is disconnected, grasp the old bulb and turn it counterclockwise to release it from the headlight assembly. Pull it straight out to remove the bulb.
6. Insert the New Bulb: Take the replacement H7 bulb and insert it into the headlight housing. Rotate it clockwise to secure it in place.
7. Reconnect the Wiring Connector: Push the wiring connector securely back onto the new low beam bulb until it clicks into place.
8. Replace the Headlight Bulb Cap: Place the black plastic cap back over the low beam headlight assembly and twist it to lock it into position.
9. Close the Hood: Once you've verified the bulb is securely installed and working, close the hood.
Testing the Headlight:
Turn on your headlights and ensure that the low beam is working properly by facing the vehicle towards a wall or a suitable surface to inspect the light beam pattern.
Tips:
- It is recommended to check your vehicle's owner's manual or consult with a qualified mechanic if you encounter any difficulties or have doubts during the replacement process.
- Always handle headlight bulbs by the base to avoid leaving fingerprints on the glass surface, as this can cause uneven light distribution.
- If you accidentally touch the bulb, use a clean lint-free cloth to wipe it gently.
- Regularly check and replace your headlight bulbs as needed to maintain optimal visibility, especially during night time driving.
