2. Turn off the engine.
3. Engage the parking brake.
4. Open the hood and prop it open with the hood prop rod.
5. Locate the idle solenoid on the back of the engine. There is a small wire connected on the solenoid. Remove the wire.
6. Push in the solenoid. Do not put the wire back on.
7. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
8. Turn off the engine and close the hood.
