1. Remove the door card. To do this, you will need to remove the screws that hold it in place. There are usually two or three screws located around the door handle, and there may also be one or two screws located at the bottom of the door card. Once you have removed all of the screws, you can gently pry the door card off of the door.
2. Locate the window winder mechanism. The window winder mechanism is located behind the door card. It is a metal bracket with a plastic gear attached to it.
3. Remove the bolts that hold the window winder mechanism in place. There are usually two or three bolts that hold the window winder mechanism in place. Once you have removed the bolts, you can carefully remove the window winder mechanism from the door.
4. Remove the window winder handle. The window winder handle is attached to the window winder mechanism with a clip. To remove the clip, you will need to use a flat-head screwdriver to pry it open. Once you have removed the clip, you can pull the window winder handle off of the window winder mechanism.
5. Reassemble the door. Once you have removed the window winder mechanism, you can reassemble the door by reversing the steps that you took to remove it.
