- A clean cloth.
Step 2: Prepare the Vehicle:
- Turn off the engine and allow it to cool down.
- Engage the parking brake to ensure the vehicle is stable.
Step 3: Access the Instrument Panel:
- Locate the instrument panel cluster. This is usually situated behind the steering wheel.
- Remove the screws or trim pieces holding the instrument panel cluster in place. Carefully set these aside.
Step 4: Remove the Faulty Bulb:
- Identify the faulty bulb by turning on the vehicle's lights and checking for any inoperative bulbs.
- Use the flat-head screwdriver to gently pry open the bulb socket or housing.
- Remove the faulty bulb by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it out.
Step 5: Install the New Bulb:
- Insert the new bulb into the socket by aligning the pins correctly and pushing it in.
- Turn the bulb clockwise until it is secure.
